Who is responsible for your data
Atlasvision Innovations Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Atlasvision Innovations Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of enquiries about its services.
For anything in this policy, contact info@atlasvision.io.
What this site collects
This website has no contact form, no account system, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. It sets no cookies.
The only personal data you can send through this site is what you choose to put in an email or a phone call when you use the contact details on the homepage. That means your name, your email address or phone number, and whatever you tell me about your business.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and requested URL in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. That processing is Vercel's, under its own terms.
Why it is used, and on what basis
Information you send is used to reply to you, to scope and quote work, and to carry out an engagement if we go ahead. Where we work together, it is also used to meet legal obligations such as keeping accounting records.
The lawful bases relied on are:
- Legitimate interests, for responding to an enquiry you initiated and for keeping ordinary business correspondence.
- Performance of a contract, where you become a client.
- Legal obligation, for tax and accounting records.
Your information is never sold, rented, or used to build a marketing list. You will not be added to a mailing list for getting in touch.
Client data during an engagement
Engagements often involve access to a client's own systems and data. That access is governed by the engagement contract, not by this policy, and is subject to the controls described on the homepage: separation between clients, role-based access, control over what reaches an external AI service, human review before anything is published or sent, and an audit trail.
Where an integration is not permitted by a client's own security policy, the answer is a practical alternative rather than a workaround.
Who else sees it
Enquiry correspondence sits with the email and telephone providers used to run the business. Where an engagement proceeds, limited information may be shared with an accountant for bookkeeping and tax.
Beyond that, personal data is not shared with third parties unless the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to twelve months, then deleted. Records relating to an engagement are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, which is the retention period UK tax law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email info@atlasvision.io. There is no charge, and you will get a response within one month.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
International transfers
Some providers used to run the business, including hosting and email, operate servers outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy decisions.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
